Biography
Brian Jackson is an American musician, primarily
known for his collaborations with Gil Scott-Heron in the 1970s.
He is a keyboardist, flautist, singer, composer, and producer. Jackson's
Rhodes electric piano and flute work are prominent in many of their
compositions, especially on tracks like “The Bottle”
and “Your Daddy Loves You” from their album “Winter
in America.” He and Gil Scott-Heron worked together on several
albums, initially on “Flying Dutchman” and Strata-East
labels, then later on Arista.
