Brief biography

Few bands in British music carry the weight of community, culture and craft quite like Ezra Collective. Formed in London’s youth clubs and shaped by the city’s churches, clubs and streets, Femi Koleoso, TJ Koleoso, Joe Armon-Jones, James Mollison and Ife Ogunjobi have spent over a decade documenting their shared lives through music. From their formation in 2012 to winning the 2023 Mercury Prize for Where I’m Meant To Be and Group of the Year at the 2025 BRIT Awards, their rise has become one of the most compelling stories in contemporary British music.
