Biography

The Hedvig Mollestad Trio is a musical outfit headed by Norwegian guitarist Hedvig Mollestad, known for her activity in the new heavy prog outfit El Doom and the Born Electric. The band is made up of Mollestad on guitar, Ellen Brekken on double bass, and Ivar Lo Bjornstad on drums. The trio formed in 2011 as an outfit for Mollestad’s jazz and prog rock inspired music ideas to be brought to fruition.
