Biography

Greentea Peng, born Nubiya Garcia, is a 25-year-old British singer-songwriter based in London. She has been making waves in the music industry since she released her debut single, “Downers,” in 2018. Greentea has a unique style of blending soul, R&B, hip hop and reggae into her sound, creating something truly unique.

Greentea began writing music when she was just 16, after she left school to focus on her music career. She quickly gained attention from industry insiders and fans alike, and in 2018 she released her debut single 'Downers'. The success of this single saw Greentea sign with Since 93, an independent record label based in the UK.

Greentea's music is a unique blend of soul, R&B, hip hop and reggae. Her debut EP “Rising” was released in 2019 and featured five tracks that showcased her unique sound. The lead single from the EP 'Moonchild' was an instant hit and soon became a fan favourite amongst listeners. Greentea has since released several singles including “Ghost Town,” “Hu Man,” “Nah It Ain't The Same” and “Sanctuary.”
