28 November 2020. Any seasoned UK vinyl lover will understand some of the difficulties (as well as the duty applied) to any item arriving from outside the EU. Soon UK citizens will ‘get what they voted for’ in respect of leaving the EU. Therefore, unless a ‘suitable deal’ is struck with EU departments, ‘any item’ arriving from within the EU will attract similar scrutiny and charges as items from outside!

My Sanders Sound Systems replacement Magtech Monoblock power amplifier arrived on UK soil over one week ago. UK Border Force Agency seized the component despite all relevant procedures and documentation being correctly administered (for the second time) by Sanders Sound Systems. This replacement power amplifier was sent after a minor fault was discovered with one of the original two power amplifiers sent earlier (therefore duty has already been paid). We can do nothing but wait for UK Border Force to adjust their tight fitting bowler hats from their overworked heads. Indeed, I am being taught a serious lesson in patience once again!

The above minor but highly frustrating issues are the reasons I will be offering Sanders Sounds Systems my highly organised and passionate ‘Distributor Duty’ services. Of course that is if the Sanders Sound Systems Magtech Monoblock power amplifier and Preamplifier perform to my high expectations?
In the meantime, I have extra time to photograph these units.

I love the overall design and potential greater functionality of the remote control. It has one of the ‘widest working angles’ of any remote I have used to date.
(Though I have no idea how to programme it to control anything else)!
